Plus: My approach to self-care this season

What’s up, fam -
I’m playing the long game.
I’m building for Future Robin. The one lifting weights in her nursing home and rapping along to Biggie.
We’re not here for hacks or shortcuts. We’re not chasing quick results. We’re here for the process. The daily reps that stack power, purpose, and proof.
Brick by brick. Day by day. Legacy in motion.
What are you building toward?

.WHAT I’M SERVING.
Sweet Bean-Stuffed French Toast 🍞 This month’s Eat to Hustle episode features a Sunday morning favorite in our house: Sweet Bean-Stuffed French Toast. It’s a protein-packed spin on the classic with crispy edges, a sweet center, and just the right amount of decadence to make breakfast feel special. Athena and Atlas love the sweet bean filling so much they sneak spoonfuls straight from the bowl before it even hits the bread. It’s that good.
Catch the YouTube episode where I whip up this toast alongside my friend, author, and Top Chef alum, Candice Kumai ⬇️

.WHAT I’M SHARING.
My approach to self-care 💅 It goes beyond bubble baths and face masks. It’s about proactive support for your mind, body, and energy. As the holidays and year-end chaos approach, I joined Sherri Shepherd to share real, actionable ways to protect your peace, move with intention, and fuel your hustle. Self-care isn’t an indulgence. It’s maintenance for your power. 💥
Protect Your Peace: Use your “no” to protect your “hell yes.” Boundaries are self-care and your energy is currency. Spend it wisely. My recommendation this season? Create a “stop doing” list. Sometimes the things you don’t do are just as powerful as the things you do.
Movement Is Medicine: It’s how we build resilience and release stress. Put your workouts on the calendar like a meeting with your boss. Loop in your family, bring a friend, or try “exercise snacks” (5–10 minutes counts!). Keep it consistent and make it fun. Momentum builds strength.
Fuel to Power Your Hustle: Food is fuel, so eat like it. Keep meals colorful, intentional, and protein-packed. Protein’s having a moment, and for good reason: it builds muscle, boosts energy, and keeps you strong for the hustle. I like to prep a few protein sources on the weekend so I’m ready for the week ahead. For more fueling tips and the recipes I shared with Sherri, remember to pre-order my cookbook - Eat to Hustle, out March 2026!
.WHAT I’M REMINDING Y’ALL.
Schedule your appointments! 📋️ This is your nudge. Before the holidays hit and calendars fill up, book the things you’ve been putting off—dentist, mammogram, annual physical, colonoscopy, whatever’s on your list. Fall is the best time to do it, so when year-end chaos kicks in, you’re already ahead. Plus: many insurance benefits reset at year’s end, so don’t leave them on the table. Get ahead. Get it done. Set yourself up for success. 💪

Fam, my Peloton apparel collection is live and shipments are in! 🎉
I want to see y’all rocking your love letters to the ’90s—bold colors, big energy, all the vibes. I’m loving how you’re already making the pieces your own. Tag me on socials so I can see how you’re styling them. If you haven’t grabbed your looks yet, check them out here before they’re gone!

The Women inPower Summit 📣 Tomorrow’s the day! I’ll be on stage with my girl Robin Roberts at the legendary 92nd Street Y for the Women inPower Summit keynote. We’re talking resilience, reinvention, and how to keep showing up for yourself even when the path gets hard.
If you’ve been thinking about coming, this is your sign. Last call for tickets—see you there!

Question: Do you have any suggestions for a plant-based substitute for ground breakfast sausage?
Answer: There are a ton of good plant-based options in the freezer section. I like to make my own seitan and form it into patties. It takes a little time, but it’s worth it. Soy crumbles work well too!
Got a question for me? Reply to this email and let me know what’s on your mind.
Thanks for reading, Fam. Go out there, pivot with power, and stay curious about what’s next.
