đź‘‘ Don't skip the small stuff

Plus: What's in my fridge

What’s up, Hustlers!

Some days feel like a weight you didn’t sign up to carry.

When the world feels heavy and problems seem big, the small things matter more than ever. Hydration. Movement. Quiet moments.

Be intentional about what you let in—media, food, conversation. Everything you consume either fuels your hustle or drains it.

Start small. Protect your power.

 .WHAT I’M RECAPPING.

Highlights from Cannes Lions đź‡«đź‡· Cannes was more than a trip—it was a reminder of what’s possible when creativity, culture, and community collide. From powerful conversations to incredible performances, the week was stacked with moments that pushed me to dream even bigger. I’m excited to bring this energy home and share with y’all a few of the moments that lit me up:

  • Deep Blue Legends dinner: Kicked off the week with an incredible dinner hosted by Deep Blue, surrounded by badass women rewriting the rules. Beautiful views, an electric vibe, and the legend himself, Jon Batiste, made an appearance!

  • Celebrating community: From a fireside chat with Weber Shandwick on the power of connection and culture to dancing all night at Jess King’s DJ set with my Peloton crew, the week was a celebration of the power of community—on and off the stage.

  • Spotify SoirĂ©e & Cardi B concert: A stunning dinner turned into an unforgettable night with Cardi B lighting up the Croisette. I mean… CMON. Huge shoutout to Emma Vaughn and the entire Spotify team for a week of incredible events and unforgettable energy.

  • #Pursesnacks on point: You already know I came prepared. I’m not kidding when I say there was tofu in my purse at one point. Between events, my go-to was Pique’s Sun Goddess Matcha packets. Clean, powerful, and the perfect pick-me-up to keep me energized and event-ready all day.

 .WHAT I’M JOURNALING.

Gratitude checkpoint📍Cannes wasn’t just a dream trip—it was a gratitude checkpoint.

It’s easy to keep chasing the next goal without honoring what you’ve already built. But reflection is fuel. Gratitude keeps you grounded and hungry.

So my journaling prompt to you this week:

  • What do you have now that you used to wish for?

Write it down. Sit in it. Celebrate it. Then keep going.

 .WHAT’S IN MY FRIDGE.

The kitchen essentials đźĄ« Alright y’all—let’s pop open the fridge and get into it. These are a few things you’ll find in my fridge on any given week—a mix of staples, meal prep go-tos, and flavor boosters that make every meal more nutritious and tasty.

  • Momofuku Sweet & Spicy Korean BBQ Sauce: I’ve been putting this on everything. A little drizzle on tofu or tempeh? Game changer. Never sleep on the power of sauce.

  • Fermented Veggies: They’re doing the most for my gut health. Think kimchi, sauerkraut, pickled radish—these stay fresh for ages and pack a serious probiotic punch. Fermentation isn’t just preservation—it boosts B vitamins, supports digestion, and helps your microbiome.

  • Coconut Yogurt: We’re in our protein era, and this one earns a top shelf spot. Kite Hill is my go-to for plant-based protein, and it’s the perfect #pursesnack.

  • Air-Fried Tofu: Non-negotiable. Always ready to toss into a stir fry, a grain bowl, or just grab cold on the go. Lately I’ve been adding a splash of soy sauce and coconut aminos to really lock in the umami.

  • Hot Sauce: Clearly we’re a hot sauce family. D’elidas is the absolute best—it’s from Panama, but you can also find it on Amazon. This isn’t sponsored (but hi, call me). This sauce slaps, and yes, it’s your sign to go heavy on it.

  • Quinoa (or some kind of grain): I’m always prepping a grain for the week, and quinoa is a favorite. A sprinkle of nutritional yeast and spices adds a savory punch that levels up any bowl. *Pro tip: ditch the water—cook your grains in veggie stock. It adds depth and flavor without messing with your macros.

That’s my fridge tour. Now—what’s in yours?

What’s up next? Let’s just say it’s a challenge that’ll push you, connect you, and reward your hustle. Get hyped. 💥

A couple weeks ago, I shared my annual health & wellness checklist—a reminder that taking care of yourself starts with showing up for your health. Preventive care isn’t extra—it’s essential. Schedule the appointments. Block the time. Treat them like non-negotiables. Your future self will thank you. đź’Ş

I’ve got one more thing for the Swagger fam. Preventive care isn’t just doctor’s visits—it’s recovery, too. Cozy Earth loungewear has become part of my wind-down routine: ultra-soft, breathable, and perfect for shifting from go-mode to grounded. Use code ROBIN81153 for 40% off!

Question: What do you do on the days when your energy and motivation is low?

- Carly

Answer: I tell myself to just start. That’s it. One small action. Lace up the shoes. Open the notebook. Hit play on the playlist. I don’t pressure myself to go all out—I just get moving. Most of the time, momentum kicks in, and I’m reminded why I showed up in the first place.
