.WHAT I’M SHARING.
One thing everyone in my house agrees on 🍝 Kaizen is one of those rare pantry staples that checks every box in our house. The kids are obsessed with the fun shapes of pasta and I love it because it keeps all of us fueled with carbs, protein, and fiber.
And yes — I eat carbs. Carbs are fuel. They help you power through workouts, meetings, motherhood, long days, and all the hustle in between. What I love about Kaizen is that it gives you the comfort and satisfaction of pasta or rice while being high in protein and fiber. One serving has 20g of plant protein plus fiber and slow-digesting carbs, which means it actually keeps me feeling energized instead of crashing later.
I use it in all our favorite family meals, but try swapping in Kaizen pasta next time you make creamy mac & cheese. Cozy, nostalgic, protein-packed comfort food? That’s a win every single time.
And another win? For a limited time, you can grab a bundle of my favorite Kaizen products — saving over 30%, plus free Italian Sea Salt Discs. Give it a try and let me know how you use it in your favorite family meals!
.WHAT’S ON MY MIND.
Remixing Motherhood 🔄 Modern motherhood has become an unwinnable game, and I’m done playing it that way. In today’s episode of Project Swagger, I’m getting honest about the identity friction I’ve felt as a working mom, why balance is a myth, and how I started trusting my own voice over the noise, setting non-negotiables, and letting go of expectations that didn’t serve me. Plus: the parenting tactics my husband and I use to teach our kids agency and resilience, and the stories behind their names.
This is part one of a new Project Swagger series called Motherhood: The Remix. Like a good 90s mixtape, let’s create our own individual versions of motherhood, keeping what works, rejecting what doesn’t, and setting our own rules. If you’ve ever felt like you’re supposed to be everything to everyone, and do it all—this is for you.
.WHAT I’M COOKING.
My Vegan Big Stack 🍔 This might be one of my favorite recipes in Eat to Hustle. We’re talking savory, smoky, tangy, stacked-high perfection with that special sauce energy that hits every single time. The homemade patties are juicy, packed with plant-based protein, and layered between soft, squishy buns for the ultimate burger moment.
And if life is moving fast, there’s zero shame in grabbing your favorite plant-based burger and loading it up with all the fixings. But if you’ve got a little prep time, these patties are worth it. They’re packed with bold flavor and easy to make ahead so you’ve got a burger ready whenever the craving hits.
Instructions
Make the sauce: In a medium bowl, whisk together ½ cup vegan mayonnaise, 2 tablespoons sugar-free ketchup, 1 tablespoon yellow mustard, 1 tablespoon sweet relish, 1 teaspoon rice wine vinegar, ½ teaspoon onion powder, ½ teaspoon garlic powder, and ½ teaspoon smoked paprika until smooth. Transfer to an airtight container and refrigerate until ready to use (up to 5 days).
Make the patties: In a large bowl, whisk together ¼ cup vegan mayonnaise, 2 tablespoons ground flaxseed, 2 tablespoons nutritional yeast, 1 tablespoon white miso paste, 1 tablespoon soy sauce, 1 tablespoon vegan Worcestershire sauce, 1 teaspoon onion powder, 1 teaspoon garlic powder, 1 teaspoon smoked paprika, 1 teaspoon liquid smoke, and ½ teaspoon freshly ground black pepper.
Add 1 pound hydrated TVP (or 1½ cups dry TVP prepared according to package instructions) and stir until fully coated. Gradually mix in ½ cup breadcrumbs and ¼ cup flour until the mixture becomes firm enough to hold together.
Lay a piece of parchment or wax paper on a clean work surface and coat it with nonstick spray. Divide the burger mixture into 8 equal portions and roll each into a ball. Evenly space the balls across the parchment paper.
Coat another piece of parchment paper with nonstick spray and place it on top of the burger balls. Using a drinking glass, press each ball into a ¼-inch-thick patty.
Make the burgers: In a large nonstick skillet, heat avocado oil over medium heat. When the oil is shimmering, peel the top parchment off two patties. Set them, burger side down, in the skillet, then peel off the remaining parchment. Sear for about 3 minutes, then flip. Lay a slice of cheese on each burger and add a splash of water to the skillet to help the cheese melt faster. Cover and cook until the cheese is melted and the burgers are nicely browned, about another 3 minutes.
Assemble your burger with your favorite toppings — tomato, onion, lettuce, pickles, and plenty of special sauce. Transfer one patty to the bottom bun, stack the center bun on top, then add the second patty and press on the top bun. Enjoy!

You can get stronger at any age 💪 On last week’s episode of Project Swagger, I break down exactly how I train every week, the only strength training concepts you actually need to know, and a simple starter template that will get you results. No more excuses. We’re building strength at any age and becoming undeniable baddies.

Question: What are your thoughts on intermittent fasting?
Answer: I actually talked about this on last week’s episode of Project Swagger. Personally? It’s a no for me. I think intermittent fasting can sometimes be under-eating in disguise. We need to be fueled and fed for our workouts — and for the energy life requires. I think Dr. Stacy Sims has some really interesting research around why fasting can be especially challenging for active women and the importance of properly fueling our bodies.
That said, girl, if it works for you and you feel good doing it, keep doing you. I’m not in your body — only you know what works best for you.
But before jumping into something that feels extreme, ask questions, do the reading, and find trusted resources to make sure you’re approaching it in a healthy, sustainable way.
Got a question for me? Reply to this email and let me know what’s on your mind.
Thanks for reading, Hustlers. Go out there, pivot with power, and stay curious about what’s next.
