What’s up, Hustlers!
Today, I've got energy on my mind. It's what fuels how you show up—for yourself and others.
I know there's a ton demanding your energy. When things get tough, I make a conscious choice to invest my energy in belief rather than worry.
You woke up today...might as well use that energy to be a badass.

.WHAT I’M THINKING ABOUT.
Energy is currency. 🔋 You are intentional when making a big purchase, right? Things that require your energy should get the same treatment. Listen to your intuition. You know what drains your energy and what brings you vibrancy. Trust that feeling.
This week, I encourage you to do one thing that protects or increases your energy bank account. Some ideas:
Free yourself up to say no. ❌
Do more of what energizes you—running, reading, cooking, anything! 📚️
Consider what’s sucking all your energy (energy vampires) and ✂️ cut it out.
Remember…you get to choose how you spend your energy.
.WHAT’S ON MY PLATE .
The perfect roasted squash. 🍽️ There are endless ways to cook with squash, but here is one of my favorites:
Score a yellow squash and coat it in salt, letting it sit for 15 minutes to draw out the moisture.
Toss the squash in a pan, flesh side down, for a few minutes until it gets that perfect crispiness.
Add pepper, rosemary, and thyme and transfer it to a 450°F oven for about 15 minutes, or until it reaches a golden texture.
Pair your squash with a side of veggies—I went for peppers, cauliflower, and a mushroom steak with BBQ sauce.

Question: This week, my Swagger Society crew picked a question for Adam Grant, author of this month’s Book Club pick, Hidden Potential. The question: How can you boost resilience and adaptability in today's fast-paced work scene?
Answer: It’s about finding your flow.
Ever feel stagnant? Joyless for no real reason? Low on motivation? Distracted and bored at the same time? That’s called languishing—it’s more common than you might think, especially in today’s fast-paced work environment. And the cure for languishing is finding flow.
You have to become an active participant in the real world. And the best way to do that is to focus on three important things:
Mastery—finding something you’re good at and celebrating wins, no matter how small.
Mindfulness—focusing your attention on a single task at a time instead of spreading yourself thin.
Mattering—knowing that you make a positive difference.
