👑 Feeling stuck?

Plus: Strength training tips for beginners

What’s up, Hustlers!

Feeling stuck? I've been there.

That doesn’t mean you’re off track. It means it’s time to switch something up.

If you keep hitting the same wall, stop pushing the same way. Try a new route. Take a detour. Flip your routine. Ask a different question. The hustle stays, but how you approach it can reignite your fire.

Stuck isn’t failure. It’s feedback. Shift one thing today and let your momentum do the rest.

 .WHAT I’M SHARING.

Strength training tips for beginners đŸ’Ș I love that more and more of y’all are asking me how to build strength into your routine. Whether you’re just getting started or returning after a break, let’s get one thing straight: Strength is the fountain of youth. It’s how we stay sharp, mobile, and ready for whatever life throws at us.

Here are the basics I recommend for beginners or anyone who wants to get back to the fundamentals:

  1. Bodyweight first. Master form with moves like squats, lunges, push-ups, and planks before adding weight. You’re not “just” using bodyweight—you’re building stability, control, and confidence. Try one of the Peloton bodyweight strength classes for all the fundamentals.

  2. Consistency beats intensity. 2-3 strength sessions a week is a great place to start. Work in cardio or rest days between to give your muscles time to rebuild stronger.

  3. Form > ego. Always. Start lighter than you think and move with intention. Good reps lead to better results and keep you injury-free.

  4. Fuel your body. You can’t build strength on fumes. Eat protein, hydrate often, and get real sleep. Recovery isn’t optional, it’s where the gains happen.

  5. Track your progress. More reps, better balance, or just showing up with less hesitation? It all counts.

 .WHAT I’M RECAPPING.

ESPYs Highlights đŸ†ïž The ESPYs were a masterclass in hustle, grit, and greatness. From the carpet to the stage, I was surrounded by elite athletes who don’t just train hard—they show up with heart, swagger, and purpose.

Women’s sports stole the show in the best way possible, and I was honored to witness it all. Shoutout to the Icons of the night, Alex Morgan and Diana Taurasi, whose careers continue to redefine excellence and leadership in sport. Absolute legends.

I also got to chat with some incredible athletes and presenters while reporting from the carpet with Extra TV, and these convos brought the gold:

  • Gabby Thomas would rather do 50 burpees after a workout than train without music. (Respect, my girl!)

  • Ilona Maher is working on a docuseries about her life with Hello Sunshine—PUMPED for this.

  • Jordan Chiles keeps it real with #pursesnacks: gummy worms, cream pies, and fruit. Gymnast fuel at its finest.

  • Diana Taurasi chooses 5 a.m. workouts and RDLs. No excuses. No shortcuts.

  • Brooks Nader’s summer tanning tip for the girlies: “Tan totally naked.” Noted.

I have so much respect for every winner and nominee. Thank you for the inspiration—and the reminder that swagger shows up in every arena. đŸȘ©đŸ”„

.WHAT I’M CHALLENGING YOU TO DO.

Move a marathon! 🏃 This week’s #SummerofSwagger challenge: move a cumulative 26.2 miles—your way. Walk, run, bike, rollerblade, however you move, your mission is to hit 26.2 miles by the end of the week.

This isn’t about speed, it’s about showing up consistently and stacking the miles. One mile at a time. One day at a time.

At the end of the week, take a pic, post it on IG, and tag @robinnyc and @swaggersociety. We’ll pick one winner on Friday to receive exclusive merch. đŸ”„

Question: What’s your advice for someone who wants to start journaling but doesn’t know where to begin?

- Corey

Answer: Don’t overthink it. Start with one sentence. You don’t need a perfect setup, fancy notebook, or some grand revelation. Just show up to the page. Write like no one’s watching, because no one is. This space is for you. The more honest you are, the more powerful it becomes.
