šŸ‘‘ Fresh season. Fresh energy.

Plus: A reminder to never settle

What’s up, Hustlers!

I hope y’all had a great Labor Day weekend.

For me, this holiday is a reminder that the hustle only works if rest is part of the equation. When we honor both, we show up stronger, sharper, and ready for whatever’s next.

September’s here. Fresh season. Fresh energy. Let’s turn it into wins.

 .WHAT I’M GEEKING OUT ON.

The science of exercise and longevity šŸ’Ŗ I’m currently immersed in FoundMyFitness’s episode, ā€œHow to Train According to the Experts.ā€ This almost 3-hour deep dive hits all the topics I love geeking out on—exercise and longevity, VOā‚‚ max, effective HIIT and Zone 2 protocols, strength-training science, and even how sauna use and creatine can support performance and recovery. It’s evidence-rich, practical, and inspiring, perfect for anyone looking to level up their training. ā¬‡ļø

You’ll see these science-backed practices show up in my Peloton classes. From 4-minute interval runs and Tabata sessions, to HIIT blocks and 30-minute upper + lower splits with drop sets - this is how I teach, train and sweat with all of you. šŸ’Ŗ

.WHAT I READ ON THE BEACH.

There’s something about reading on the beach that hits different. This summer, my stack was a mix of dark humor, magic, suspense, and timeless truth. Here’s what kept me turning pages:

The Wedding People by Alison Espach – Dark humor at its finest, with flawed characters you can’t look away from. Sharp, witty, and a little twisted in the best way.

The Invisible Life of Addie LaRue by V.E. Schwab – A magical reinterpretation of a Faustian deal. Lyrical, haunting, and a story that lingers long after the last page.

Don’t Let Him In by Howard Linskey – A creepy, chilling thriller that had me on edge.

Letter from a Birmingham Jail by Martin Luther King Jr. – This was required reading for my Henry Crown Fellowship seminar this summer—a week of conversation, connection, and digging deep with a powerful group of leaders. The text is poignant, powerful, and just as relevant today as when it was written. A timeless reminder of the work still left to do.

 .WHAT I’M REMINDING Y’ALL.

Magic exists āœØ But, those who don’t believe in it will never find it. Last week the internet went wild over Travis and Taylor’s big announcement (I’m obsessed) and it made me reflect on my own love story. After years of trusting the right partner would show up at the right time (see below for the full story)…. spoiler: he did. And I’m forever grateful I never settled.

So here’s your reminder from me (and Taylor šŸ˜‰): the right chapters unfold when they’re meant to. Never settle. Keep believing. The magic is already moving toward you.

I’m back on Good Morning America TODAY and this Thursday to talk about how to bring that fresh start energy into September. šŸ‚

January 1 is arbitrary. Any day can be the start of something new and Fall is the perfect season to pause, reflect, and realign for the rest of the year.

Tune in at ~8:10am today and Thursday for all my tips on setting clear goals, staying consistent, and holding yourself accountable as we close out 2025 strong. šŸ’Ŗ

My new YouTube show, ā€œEat to Hustleā€, is coming soon! šŸ‘€  I’ll be bringing recipes from my cookbook to life—served up with family, friends, and some very special guests.

First up: mi familia. Expect the spice, the stories, and the sass you didn’t know you needed. Hit subscribe on my YouTube channel and turn on those post notifications so you don’t miss a single bite.

Question: When you're walking into a nerve-wracking situation- interview, audition, competition, speaking engagement- how do you get into your most confident headspace? I tend to let my nerves overtake me and I'm experimenting with how to get centered and feel unstoppable. I'd love to hear about how you or others who inspire you do it!

- Lindsay

Answer: I love this question because it’s real. We’ve all been there. Even after years of speaking on stages and leading high-pressure moments, I still feel nerves. And here’s the truth: nerves mean you care. That’s the first reframe. Instead of letting them take over, I flip that energy into fuel. Every great athlete, artist, and leader I admire feels the nerves too. The difference? They choose to step into the arena anyway.

Here are three things that help me lock in:

1ļøāƒ£ Power pose: Look in the mirror—shoulders back, chin high. Your body tells your brain you’re ready.

2ļøāƒ£ Breath: Deep inhale, powerful exhale. Breath is the fastest way to shift from anxious to anchored.

3ļøāƒ£ Self-talk: Talk to yourself the way you’d hype up a friend. My go-to mantra: ā€œI’m built for this.ā€

Nerves don’t mean weakness. They’re proof you’re about to do something that matters. You’ve got this. šŸ’Ŗ
