👑 How are you speaking to yourself?

Plus: My new favorite SNL sketch

What’s up, Hustlers!

If your thoughts were blasted on a loudspeaker, would you be proud of them?

When I started running marathons, I realized my self-talk was whack. The way I spoke to myself in tough moments? I’d never talk to a friend that way. So why was I doing it to myself?

If your self-talk isn’t building you up, it’s time to rewrite the script. Talk to yourself like you would a friend—hype yourself, trust yourself, and give yourself grace.

 .WHAT I’M PRACTICING.

Self-Distancing đŸ«‚ We all have that inner monologue—the one that loves to critique, doubt, and drag us down. One way to practice self-distancing is to label it—literally give that voice a name.

The other day, on my way home from the gym, I caught myself spiraling: “This isn’t happening fast enough. This is why you didn’t get that meeting. This is falling behind.” That inner hater was ruthless.

Then I stopped. I reminded myself—that voice is not me. It’s just noise. So, I greeted her
and I named her Dianne. (No shade if your name is Dianne, it was just the first thing that popped into my head! 😆).

This technique works because it creates just enough distance to break the cycle—you can catch yourself, maybe even laugh a little, instead of getting stuck in the negativity. More importantly, it’s a reminder that your potential is so much bigger than that critical voice. So
what are y’all naming your inner hater? 👀

 .WHAT I’M LOVING .

Pip from SNL đŸ’Ș I was crying laughing at this recent SNL sketch, and I gotta say—I love everything about it. In the episode, a student (played by Lady Gaga) hypes up her classmate Pip to compete in the school’s weightlifting competition.

First off, schools having weightlifting comps? ICONIC. More of this, please. Second, Pip’s energy is everything. The tenacity, the consistency to show up, and most importantly—the swagger. This little dude may not have been the strongest, but he believed in himself like he was about to break records. And honestly? That’s half the battle. Pip’s got big hustle energy. đŸ‹ïžâ€â™‚ïžđŸ”„

 .WHAT I’M REPLAYING

The “Let Them Theory” by Mel Robbins đŸŽ§ïž This week, I’m tuning into The Prof G Pod to dive into a mindset shift that’s a game-changer: The “Let Them Theory”. The concept is simple but powerful—when people make choices, let them. Instead of wasting energy trying to control or change others, focus on what you can control: your own actions and reactions.

Here’s how this applies in real life:

  • ✅ Let them make their choices—even if you wouldn’t make the same ones.

  • ✅ Let them react how they want—it’s not your job to manage their emotions.

  • ✅ Let them exclude you, show up late, or say no—it just gives you clarity on your relationship.

But here’s the key: "Let Them" doesn’t mean being a doormat. It’s not about tolerating disrespect or lowering your standards. It’s about realizing you’re not responsible for anyone else’s behavior—and setting boundaries that honor your self-respect.

Mel flips the script with “Let Me,” a reminder to shift the focus back to yourself: What do you want? How do you show up? Instead of chasing validation or control, put that energy into your own growth. This one’s a must-listen! âŹ‡ïž

The Henry Crown Fellowship 👑 Last week I was named a 2025 Henry Crown Fellow of the Aspen Institute! This fellowship brings together bold changemakers to push the boundaries of leadership, impact, and legacy. Over the next two years, we’ll dive deep, challenge ourselves, and launch ventures that drive real change. This year’s class is EPIC—check out the 2025 members here!

As y’all know, we are not limited—we are both/and. I’m excited to add the Henry Crown Fellowship to my toolkit while continuing to show up with Peloton, GMA, and my community. Here’s to pushing up against our edges, embracing growth, and proving that we are always capable of more. Let’s go! đŸ”„

Question: I feel like I always eat the same things, and I want to get more variety of fruits and vegetables in my diet. Any tips?

- Bobbi

Answer: Love this question. I think about eating the rainbow—the more color on your plate, the better. Here are some tips to increase your variety:

- Sneak greens into smoothies—you won’t even taste them with all the fruit and protein flavors.

- Layer veggies into sandwiches for extra nutrients without overthinking it.

- Add mint and berries to water for a simple way to boost flavor and plant diversity.

- Sprinkle sprouts, hemp hearts, and chia seeds on top of meals for an easy nutrient boost.

Small changes add up—start where you can and build from there!
