👑 How can we protect our greatness?

Plus: Why you should build a strength reserve

What’s up, Swagger Society!

Greatness doesn’t happen by accident.

Our habits underpin every achievement. The little decisions become our legacy.

Between work, family, and life doing the most, chaos will show up. Habits are how greatness doesn’t slip.

What habits will you protect no matter what?

 .WHAT I’M BUILDING.

My strength reserve đŸ’Ș Strength reserve is about having more strength than your day-to-day demands require, so your body isn’t operating at its limit every time you carry groceries, chase kids, or power through a long day. Research shows this “reserve capacity” acts like a buffer—the stronger you are relative to your needs, the less stress daily life puts on your joints, tendons, and nervous system.

This means we should all be building a strength cushion. Three high-quality strength sessions per week create that buffer—protecting your body, boosting energy, and helping you stay more than capable of meeting life’s demands. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again: strength training IS the foundation of youth.

Schedule your strength sessions and join me on the mat. I’ve got hundreds of strength classes on the Peloton app—including a new 30 min Beginner Full Body Strength for creating a strong foundation. Let’s build that reserve together. đŸ’Ș

 .WHAT I’M REDEFINING.

Fitness After Birth đŸ’Ș I recently joined the Transformed by Birth podcast for a conversation about pregnancy, identity, and how our definition of strength evolves during big life transitions. We dug into ambition, productivity culture, and the pressure to optimize every stage of pregnancy and recovery—and what it means when your body asks you to move differently.

If you’re a new mama, give it a listen—and check out my Postpartum Movement Collection with Peloton and HSS, designed to help rebuild strength and support recovery after childbirth.

 .WHAT I’M READING.

The Other Side of Change by Maya Shankar đŸ“˜ This book is a powerful reminder that disruption isn’t the end of the story—it’s the beginning of a new one. Through human experiences and science-backed insight, Maya breaks down what actually happens when life forces a pivot. It challenges the idea that change is something to simply endure, and instead reframes it as a moment where new strength, clarity, and values can be forged. The big takeaway? When life reroutes you, there’s real potential on the other side—if you’re willing to lean in.

How to Train for Your Next Career Move đŸ“† If you are thinking about a career pivot in 2026, join me on Monday, January 26th for a live conversation with LinkedIn News.

I’ll be sharing practical frameworks and real lessons from my own career shift. We will talk about how to:

  • Adopt the principles of elite athletes to thrive in today’s corporate environment

  • Audit your resources, risks, and goals with clarity and intention

  • Build a playbook for success rooted in discipline, grit, and mental strength

  • Track progress, pivot with confidence, and celebrate wins

If you’re vegan-curious, or just interested in seeing how plant-based eating might impact your energy, focus, and hustle, this month is about experimenting without pressure and paying attention to how food actually makes you feel.

That’s the heart of my upcoming cookbook, Eat to Hustle. It’s stacked with 75+ plant-based, protein-packed recipes that reflect how I fuel myself and my family—real meals for real life, designed to support energy, strength, and staying ready for whatever the day throws your way. Question: Have you ever dealt with imposter syndrome? How do you overcome it?

- Hannah

Answer: I think we've all experienced imposter syndrome at some point or another. Oftentimes when we reach a certain level of success, we start questioning it. Feelings of self-doubt start creeping in and we start to ask ourselves - Who am I? Do I even deserve this?

Here's what I have to say about that - Acknowledge how far you've come and remember the hours of hard work and hustle that it took to get there. If you are at the table, you deserve to be there, so own it. There's always more to learn but as long as you continue to lead with power and know that you deserve to be where you are in this very moment, imposter syndrome doesn't stand a chance.

Limiting beliefs are loud. Make your hustle louder.
