👑 How do you move when no one is watching?
Plus: How to prioritize self-care this season

What’s up, Hustlers!
The unseen reps count the most.
When the cameras are off, when the applause quiets, when no one is tracking your steps… how do you move?
It’s easy to show up when eyes are on us. But the truest test of grit, commitment, and self-love is what we do in the in-between moments. The quiet miles. The unposted workouts. The stretches before bed.
Movement doesn’t need an audience to matter. In fact, it’s the unseen reps that build the strongest foundation.
So I’ll ask you this: How do you move when no one is watching?
Reply and let me know—or, better yet, let your moves answer today.

.WHAT I’M SHARING.
My approach to cooking 👩🍳 Cooking, for me, is like training—empowering, joyful, and always about building confidence. I’m not a professional chef, and I wasn’t always plant-based. I know how intimidating it can feel to try something new, especially if you’ve been cooking the same way for years.
That’s why in my new cookbook, I’m inviting you to play alongside me in my kitchen. We’re reimagining nostalgic dishes, turning family favorites plant-based, and exploring new flavors together. It’s not about perfection—it’s about curiosity, creativity, and confidence.
👉 Eat to Hustle is available for preorder now at Amazon, Barnes & Noble, Bookshop, and Apple Books.

.WHAT’S IN MY AIRPODS.
The Motherly Podcast 🎧️ I chatted with Liz Tenety on The Motherly Podcast about what’s surprised me most about motherhood, what it continues to teach me, and how I’ve redefined self-care with two kids in the mix. I also shared some of my go-to tips for busy moms trying to stay active and motivated—especially on the days that feel nonstop. Give it a listen and let me know what you think! ⬇️
.WHAT I’M PUTTING FIRST.
Self-care 🍵 August always feels like a natural pause button—a moment to recharge with family, soak up the last of summer, and reset before the busyness of fall kicks in. This season, I’ve been reminding myself that self-care isn’t a luxury. It’s a necessity. Here are a few ways I’m putting it first:
Slowing down. Slowing down takes confidence and strength. It’s easy to go, go, go, but zooming out gives you perspective, so you can go full throttle on what truly matters. 💪🏽
Filling my own cup. For me, that’s putting more weight on the barbell. For you, it might be running, writing, or cooking. Whatever makes you feel most like yourself, do it! 🏋🏽♀️
Leaning on my people. My family keeps me grounded. I let them know what I need and how they can support me.
Finding self-care in doses. You don’t need to overhaul your life overnight. Sometimes it’s sunshine on a walk, 10 minutes with a good book, or a quick ab workout. 📚
How are you putting self-care and productive rest at the top of your list this month?

Question: How do you stay motivated to work out? Especially during the summer months when life gets so busy?
Answer: Motivation comes and goes. What keeps me consistent is discipline and remembering why I move. I don’t wait until I “feel like it.” I schedule my workouts the way I would a meeting that I can’t cancel. I also remind myself that movement isn’t punishment—it’s a privilege. Even on the busiest days, I can carve out 10 minutes to sweat, and those 10 minutes stack up into strength, confidence, and swagger.
