👑 I eat fear for breakfast

Plus: Let's talk gratitude

What’s up, Swagger Society!

I eat fear for breakfast.

Fear means you care. Fear means you’re alive. Fear means you're willing to fight.

When fear hits, I remind myself: I’ve survived 100% of my hardest days. Every loss, every closed door, every moment that tried to break me — I’m still here. So when fear shows up, I take a deep breath and bite down. I turn it into fuel.

So fam, are you ready to eat fear for breakfast?

 .WHAT I’M GIFTING.

My NOBULL Essentials 👟 Y’all know I live in NOBULL, so you better believe my friends and family are getting hooked up with my favorite gear this holiday season. If you’re looking to give the gift of movement and swagger, here are my go-to NOBULL picks — perfect for anyone on your list who’s ready to move, grow, and level up.

Not sure where to start? Here are a few of my favorites:

  • The Drive Ripstop: My go-to hybrid shoe. If I can only pack one pair of sneakers, this is the one in my suitcase.

  • High Rise Short 4": Hands down my favorite shorts. Comfy, flattering, and the perfect length.

  • NOBULL Crew: The perfect cold-weather pullover. And yes, it even looks amazing cropped (proof above 😄).

  • The Outwork: My lifting ride-or-dies. If I’m doing barbell work, I’m in these.

 .WHAT I’M LISTENING TO.

The science of gratitude 🎧️ For me, gratitude is a grounding practice that snaps me into the present and reminds me how far I’ve come. I ask myself, “What do I have now that I used to wish for?” That one question shifts my whole energy and makes me appreciate the small, everyday moments just as much as the big milestones.

I recently listened to a Huberman Lab Essentials episode that puts real science behind what we feel when we slow down and reconnect. It breaks down how gratitude literally changes your brain — lowering stress, boosting calm, and sharpening your motivation. The biggest surprise? The most powerful form of gratitude isn’t listing blessings… it’s revisiting a real moment when someone genuinely thanked you. That memory hits the brain like fuel.

Heading into Thanksgiving, this episode is a powerful reminder to anchor into gratitude all season long. Give it a listen and let it set the tone for your week. ⬇️

 .WHAT I’M GRATEFUL FOR.

This Swagger newsletter community! 🫶 Speaking of gratitude, we’re celebrating the 2-year anniversary of this newsletter — that’s 100+ weekly drops and hundreds of responses filled with intention, honesty, and heart.

I love sharing these pieces of my week with you — the wins, the lessons, the experiments, the messiness. But my favorite part, hands down, is hearing how these newsletters show up in your life. Your responses, your reflections, your questions… that’s what brings all of this to life.

As we step into another year of Swagger together, I’d love your feedback in the survey below. Tell me what you want more of, what’s been helpful, and where you want us to go next.

Question: What are your non-negotiables for showing up as your best self every day?

- Francesca

Answer: My toolkit isn’t revolutionary — it’s the basics, done consistently. I’m in bed by 9, and aim for 9 hours of sleep each night. I eat mostly homemade meals because I want to know what I’m fueling my body with. I move my body every single day, whether it’s a run, a lift, or a long walk with my kids. And honestly? I say no — or “no thank you” — to most social events. Protecting my time and energy is a form of self-care. Those simple habits are what keep me grounded, focused, and able to pour into the people and projects I love.
