Tips for new runners 👟 New runner? Good. You’re about to meet a version of yourself that only shows up when things get tough. Every runner starts with one step. Don’t wait until you feel ready. The goal isn’t to be perfect. It’s to show up, sweat, and keep going.
Let’s talk about how to build your foundation—strong, smart, and with swagger ⬇️
Never apologize for being a new runner, or your speed, or your mileage. If you lace up and do the work, you’re a runner. Period. Claim it.
Start with minutes, not miles. Forget distance for now. Go out for 15–20 minutes and let your body find its rhythm. The miles will come.
Follow the 10 Percent Rule. Don’t jump from 2 miles to 7 in a week. Build slow, build smart. That’s how you create staying power.
Listen to your body. There’s a difference between sore and hurt. Learn it early. Rest, stretch, recover. Hustle smart so you can hustle longer.
Trust the process. Progress doesn’t come from comfort—it comes from consistency. No shortcuts. Just work.
Running will test you, but it’ll also teach you exactly what you’re capable of. And when you find yourself toeing the line at the NYC Marathon, let me know. Me and the fam will be on the sidelines screaming for you. 🗽🔥

In a world that celebrates highlight reels, it’s easy to believe success only lives in the big wins—the new product launches, the marketing campaigns, the sales milestones. But that couldn’t be further from the truth. Dinner with my kids. Story time before bed. An unhurried walk with my partner. These aren’t distractions from ambition—they’re fuel for it.
These small, sacred moments ground me. They remind me what matters and give me the clarity and resilience to show up stronger in every room I walk into.
Sustainable success isn’t built on burnout—it’s built on knowing when to pause, reflect, and refuel. It’s not either/or. It’s both the bold and the quiet.
