👑 Motivation is a lie

Plus: A big announcement...

What’s up, Hustlers!

Motivation is the biggest lie we’ve ever been told.

Here’s the truth: nobody cares if you feel like it. If I waited around for motivation to strike, I’d miss out on 90% of the magic in my life.

It’s about taking action and building momentum—one step, one choice, one thing on the calendar, one email. When you marry a process that works with a purpose that gets you out of bed, motivation becomes the byproduct, not the prerequisite.

Stop waiting to feel ready. Start showing up like it’s already yours.

 .WHAT I’M CELEBRATING.

I’m joining the NOBULL team! 💪 This one’s personal, y’all. NOBULL means no bullshit. No excuses, no shortcuts, no pretending. It’s a mindset. Motivation fades—but discipline? Discipline is self-love. It’s showing up on the days you don’t want to. That’s where the growth lives.

You’ve been asking what I train in—most days, it’s NOBULLs on my feet. No fluff or gimmicks. Just gear that goes as hard as I do. Because I don’t chase hacks. I believe in showing up. I believe in the process. I believe that calluses tell a story—and mine are loud.

I’m proud to rock with a team that lets me show up as all of me: mom, athlete, executive, motivator, and more. I’m hyped to have y’all with me for the ride.

 .WHAT I’M LEANING INTO.

The April Theory 🌷 Lately, I’ve been seeing a lot about the April Theory—the idea that something shifts in us when April arrives. The weather softens, days stretch out, and suddenly, action feels more natural and joy feels more accessible.

I’m here for it. I’ve always believed seasonal shifts are invitations. April isn’t magic—but it can be momentum. And this trend is a good reminder to pause and align your intentions with the energy of the season. Here’s how I’m leaning in:

  • Refresh your routine. Small changes make a big impact—try shifting your wake-up time by 15 minutes, cracking the windows open, or adding something new to your morning playlist. Let the season in.

  • Get outside. Even a short walk can reset your nervous system. Soak in the sun. Breathe deep. It’s not just movement—it’s medicine.

  • Tidy your sleep space. A clean, calm bedroom = better rest. Clear the clutter, add a scent you love, and protect your wind-down time like you protect your hustle.

  • Let joy be the goal. Do more of what makes you feel light—no guilt, just intention.

Whether or not you’re into trends, this one’s a vibe I can get behind. Spring is here. Let’s wake up to it—with purpose.

 .WHAT I’M GRATEFUL FOR.

Easter and Passover with my family 💗 To everyone who celebrated —I hope you had a beautiful moment to pause, reflect, and celebrate with the ones you love. For me, this year felt extra special—celebrating both holidays with lots of new babies in the mix.

I’m grateful for the laughter, the chaos, and the little moments that turn into the big memories. Legacy isn’t just passed down—it’s lived, shared, and felt in moments like these. ❤️

I’m pumped to speak at the inaugural New York Times Well Festival on May 7th—a day dedicated to the facts of feeling good. This isn’t just another wellness event. We’re cutting through the noise and getting real about what it takes to live a healthy, intentional life.

From sleep and nutrition to happiness and aging, I’ll be joining newsmakers, scientists, and creators to unpack the moments that shape our well-being. Will you be there? Let me know!

Question: Do you fuel before workouts? If so what is your go to pre-workout fuel?

- Haley

Answer: Yes! I’ve learned that how you fuel sets the tone for how you show up. I follow what I call the “rule of halves”—I’ll eat half of my snack or meal before the workout, and save the other half for after. That way I’m not hitting the ground too heavy, but I’m still giving my body what it needs to perform.

My go-to pre-workout fuel? A protein bagel with almond butter, coconut yogurt with fruit, a tofu veggie scramble, or a plant-based smoothie with water, greens, protein, and berries. It’s all about experimenting and listening to your body. Find what powers your hustle—and run with it.
