What’s up, Hustlers!
I know the world can feel heavy out there.
I want you to remember that you’ve got the power of breath and movement right at your fingertips. That’s your medicine, your healing, your connection.
Amidst all the noise and headlines trying to divide us, we can use this strength to come together.
Let’s harness that power.

.WHAT I’M CELEBRATING.
November 1st 💫 I’m fully in the holiday spirit —the decor is up, Mariah is playing, and I’m diving into the festive vibes. With all the excitement, this season can get busy fast. It’s more important now to keep your own cup full, so you can show up for yourself and for others. Here are a few ways to stay grounded and energized through the holiday season.
Protect Your Yes: Practice the power of 'no.' Saying yes to what truly matters (and no to what doesn’t) keeps your holiday calendar filled with moments that lift you up.
Schedule Time for Movement: Even a quick 10-minute sweat can shift your energy. Make movement a non-negotiable in your day, and let it be your time to recharge.
Focus on Gratitude: Try starting a gratitude journal for the season. Write down one thing you’re thankful for each day—it’s a powerful way to stay present and joyful.
Prioritize Quality Sleep: Rest is the ultimate reset. Even with busy days, aim for consistent sleep. Being well-rested keeps you more present and ready to take on all the holiday vibes.
Set an Intentional Morning Routine: Start each day with one small thing that’s just for you, whether it’s a few minutes of deep breathing or setting a simple intention. Grounding yourself early sets a positive tone for the day.
.WHAT I LOVED.
New Orleans 🎉 Drew and I went down to New Orleans last week to celebrate his birthday and sneak in some time exploring before a speaking event. The city brought its magic—amazing food, lively streets, and the kind of energy that just pulls you in. I wanted to share a few of the highlights with y'all!
Favorite Restaurant: Sneaky Pickle – Amazing vegan and non-vegan options with a laid-back 90s bar vibe.
Favorite Food/Dish: Beignets are a must, of course, but the vegan biscuit sandwich from Bearcat was everything.
Local Gem: Sweet Soul Food – It’s casual and unassuming, but the food and hospitality? Next level. Don’t miss their bread pudding!
Memorable NOLA Moment: Frenchman Street! The music, the art—it’s the soul of the city in one stretch of street.
Best Coffee & Beignets Spot: Meals From the Heart – Vegan beignets are on point here, a hidden treasure for sure.
Favorite Neighborhood: Treme – rich in culture, history and beauty!
Favorite Activity: Take a tour with DJ (@Djdoesdopeshit). You’ll see the city through local eyes, and his insight is as dope as the sights.
Can’t wait for my next trip to NOLA. Have you been? What’s your favorite spot?
.WHAT I’M MAKING.
Electrolyte Ice Cubes 🧊 Hydration isn’t just about the water you drink—it’s about keeping your body ready to perform. Electrolytes help regulate muscle function, brain power, and keep your energy levels in check. When they’re out of balance, you might feel it as headaches, muscle cramps, fatigue, brain fog, or that overall sluggishness we all want to avoid.
My latest hydration hack? Electrolyte ice cubes that make staying hydrated both fun and effective. I mix water, LMNT electrolytes, and fresh fruit—think blueberries or lemon slices. Freeze, and you’ve got a hydration boost that’s simple, tasty, and keeps you fueled no matter how busy life gets.

Question: What’s a gratitude practice that helps you to stay grounded?
Answer: I like having “Gratitude Checkpoints.” I pick a few specific moments in my day—like after a workout or at my kids’ bedtime—to pause and appreciate what’s going well. Sharing one thing out loud with my kids at night, like a small win or a fun memory, keeps it real and makes it a habit. Little moments add up, and this practice reminds me to celebrate them.
