šŸ‘‘ Ordinary is optional

Plus: My favorite post-workout meal

What’s up, Hustlers!

You woke up today—might as well be a badass.

You’ve already got the gift. Now it’s on you to decide how to use it. Don’t wait for the perfect moment or the perfect mood. Take the shot. Wear the outfit. Say the thing. Ordinary is optional.

What would today look like if you were twice as strong and twice as confident?

 .WHAT’S IN MY AIRPODS.

The neglected power of siblings šŸ‘Øā€šŸ‘©ā€šŸ‘§ā€šŸ‘¦ In this episode of ReThinking with Adam Grant, Susan Dominus—New York Times Magazine writer and author of The Family Dynamic—challenges some long-held beliefs about parenting and success. She makes a compelling case that siblings may have a greater impact on who we become than our parents do. The conversation digs into ambition, identity, birth order, and the ripple effects of growing up side by side. If you’re thinking about your own upbringing or how you’re showing up for your kids, this one’s worth a listen.

 .WHAT I’M COOKING.

Protein-packed vegan quesadillas 🄬 When I need something quick, satisfying, and recovery-ready after a workout, quesadillas are a go-to. They hit the trifecta: protein, carbs, and flavor. The best part? They’re easy to throw together with whatever I’ve got in the fridge. Here’s what I whipped up recently:

  • SautĆ© mushrooms and onions until golden. Remove from the pan and mix in a bowl with your favorite beans.

  • In the same pan, sautĆ© spinach and tomatoes with your go-to seasonings. Remove once softened.

  • Warm a protein tortilla in the pan, then layer on the bean-mushroom-onion mix, spinach, tomatoes, and a vegan cheese (I’m into the cashew cheese from Shrimu).

  • Top with another tortilla and cook on both sides until crispy and golden.

To serve, I like adding something fermented for a gut boost like kimchi or sauerkraut, and a handful of microgreens for extra crunch and nutrients.

Quick, customizable, and perfect for refueling the hustle.

 .WHAT I’M FOCUSING ON.

Consistency on vacation šŸŒž This month is packed with travel and family time, but I’m still honoring the hustle. Consistency doesn’t mean rigidity. It’s about staying aligned with your goals, even when routines shift. Here’s how I’ve been keeping steady on the move:

  • Write it down āœļø I jot down a few clear, realistic goals for the week. A short list keeps me grounded and gives my days direction.

  • Plan for it šŸ“† Workouts go on the calendar like any meeting. If it’s scheduled, it’s more likely to happen.

  • Bend so you don’t break šŸ¤øā€ā™€ļø Some days don’t go to plan. That’s okay. I’ll trade a run for a walk or a stretch, but I still show up.

  • Zoom out šŸŽÆ Travel goals aren’t always about PRs, they can be about staying connected to your energy and your why.

  • Adjust expectations šŸŒ“ A few treats or missed workouts won’t derail your progress. Remember to enjoy the moment.

Keep showing up, even if the version looks different each day. šŸ’Ŗ

Question: How do you balance everything?

- Andrea

Answer: I don’t. I prioritize. Balance is a myth.

I’ve let go of the idea that balance means doing everything, all at once, perfectly. You can’t give 100% of your time to everything at the same time. What I can do is align my actions and time with intention. That means saying no to anything that doesn’t fit into my values or vision.

I don’t feel pressure to do it all and that realization has been both freeing and powerful. I’m proud when I delegate. I’m proud when I ask for what I need. Because for me, balance isn’t about doing it all—it’s about doing what matters with clarity and purpose.
