Whatβs up, Hustlers!Β
We are one decision away from a new life.
It's easy to believe we're stuck. That the story has already been written.
But it hasn't. You still have the pen.
Every decision is a chance to change the ending. To choose a different direction.
Start imperfectly.
Start and fail.
Start again.

.WHAT IβM SHARING.
A book that changed the way I see the world π I read Shantaram by Gregory David Roberts after traveling to India and while standing at a crossroads, leaving a career in law to pursue a life in wellness. The story of redemption, resilience, and reinvention completely pulled me in.
It's about an escaped convict who builds a new life in Bombay, finding friendship, purpose, love, and humanity in the most unexpected places. It's epic, philosophical, and impossible to rush through. If you're in a season of reinvention, questioning your path, or simply looking for a story that will expand the way you see the world, read Shantaram.
.WHAT IβM ADOPTING.
The longevity practices that actually matter π On this week's episode of Project Swagger, I sat down with the "most feared and best-liked journalist in Silicon Valley," Kara Swisher.
Kara recently reported on a CNN docuseries exploring longevity and what actually helps us live longer, healthier lives. She tested the cutting-edge science, the tech-bro optimization trends, and all the wellness promises so we don't have to.
We unpack what she's actually bringing into her own life, what she's leaving behind, and what all of us can learn about building a healthier, more intentional life without chasing every new trend.
Plus: I'm sharing my strategies for staying consistent during the summer and how I keep my fitness goals on track when routines get messy.
.WHAT IβM RECAPPING.
A weekend in London! π¬π§ There's nothing like sweating alongside the Peloton community in London. Thank you to everyone who showed up at PSL and made the weekend so special.
In between classes, I fully embraced my inner tourist. I had an incredible vegan meal at Mildreds, saw Paddington: The Musical, experienced what might have been the best afternoon tea of my life at The Savoy, and debated the merits of Digestives vs. Hobnobs. (I'm still taking votes, so hit reply with your opinion.)
One of my favorite surprises? The amazing PSL team made a version of my favorite smoothie from Eat to Hustle. It completely made my day, so I had to share the recipe here.
Ingredients
2 cups cold water
1 scoop plain or vanilla plant-based protein powder
Β½ cup frozen mango
2 cups packed kale leaves (about 2 stems)
1 teaspoon hemp seeds
1 teaspoon chia seeds
1 teaspoon ground flaxseed
Instructions
Add all of the ingredients to a blender and blend on high until smooth, about 30 seconds. Pour into your favorite to-go cup and you're ready to hustle.
P.S. If you make it, tag me! I love seeing Eat to Hustle recipes come to life in your kitchens. π

In a few weeks, we're heading to one of my favorite places on earth: Ocean City, New Jersey. π
I know this community always has the best recommendations, so I'm coming to you first.
Hit reply with your best summer recs:
A beach read you couldn't put down π
Your best beach-with-kids hack π (Packing must-haves, toys that actually get used... give me all your wisdom.)
The SPF you'll never stop recommending for you or your little ones β
Your road trip MVP for keeping kids happy in the backseat π
Your favorite rainy-day activity that saves the day β
Your go-to healthy summer treat π I've been loving adding a little sweetness to my morning matcha with Pique's new Nectar #ad. It's made from just three whole organic fruits and has no refined sugar or artificial sweeteners. Now I want your ideasβhow are you making your summer a little sweeter?
This community always delivers. I can't wait to see what you're loving this summer. π

In last weekβs episode of Project Swagger, I break down the health metrics I track weekly and my six rules for using that data to build wellness, not break it down. Plus: why the most important metric isn't something your wearable can measure.

Question: When there's soreness after a workout, how do we know whether to push through for gains or take a recovery day to allow healing? After trying a new heavy weight or long distance run, I'm never sure what to do with the soreness in the 1-2 days afterward!
Answer: Soreness for 1β2 days after a challenging workout is completely normal. It's one of the reasons I love body-part splits. If your legs are sore, train your upper body. If your upper body is sore, focus on your lower body.
As a general rule, if soreness is taking you out for more than two days, you've probably done too much. Dial back your volume, load, distance, or speed by about 10β20% next time.
Don't underestimate the power of active recovery. An easy run or a walk can actually help reduce soreness more than sitting still.
Aim for 1β2 recovery days each week, especially after your hardest training sessions. If you consistently need more than that, your overall training load may not be sustainable.
And remember: the longer you've been lifting and running, the more work your body can handle. Soreness isn't the enemy. You can train through it. Just be smart about what you're training and adjust the intensity when needed.
