What’s up, Hustlers!Β

Your body is listening. Speak kindly.

Your inner dialogue is either building your confidence or borrowing from it.

Choose words that create possibility.

Choose words that remind you what you're capable of.

The strongest muscle you'll ever train is the one between your ears.

.WHAT I’M READING.

Ambitious Mother by Dr. Anne Welsh πŸ“š If you've ever wondered whether you can be deeply ambitious and deeply present, this book is for you.

In Ambitious Mother: From Surviving to Thriving in Your Career and at Home, psychologist and executive coach Dr. Anne Welsh challenges the idea that women have to choose between building a meaningful career and building a meaningful life. Instead of asking us to hustle harder or shrink our dreams, she offers a smarter, more sustainable vision of ambition.

I'm especially excited about this one because I had the honor of writing the foreword. It was important to me to contribute to a conversation that reminds women they don't have to become smaller after motherhood. You can still grow. You can still lead. You can still create, build, and chase the life that's calling you. Your ambition doesn't disappear when your family grows. It simply expands to hold more of who you are.

.WHAT I’M PACKING.

My summer travel bag πŸ‘œ Summer is beautifully chaotic. One day I'm teaching, the next I'm on a plane, squeezing in a workout between meetings, or heading out on an adventure with my family. I practically live out of my bag this time of year, so I've become ruthless about what earns a spot. These are the staples that help me feel like me wherever I am.

  • Overnight oats: An easy, protein-packed breakfast that keeps me fueled, even when the morning starts before sunrise.

  • Electrolyte packets: Summer sweat is real. Staying hydrated with electrolytes is essential.

  • Creatine packets: One of the supplements I stay consistent with for supporting strength, recovery, and performance.

  • Matcha packets: My favorite travel-friendly ritual. Easy to pack, easy to make, and the perfect steady boost.

  • Supergoop! SPF: Every single day. Protecting your skin is part of taking care of yourself.

  • Rare Beauty blush: My five-second trick for looking a little more awake after a flight or early call time.

  • Weleda Skin Food: A longtime favorite for keeping my skin hydrated after travel, workouts, or too much time in the sun.

  • Dr. Idriss skincare: Her purple line has been a game changer for my skin texture and melasma. I love that it simplifies my routine down to just two steps.

What’s in your summer bag? Let me know!

The longevity practices that actually matter πŸŽ™οΈ Last week on Project Swagger, I sat down with the "most feared and best-liked journalist in Silicon Valley," Kara Swisher.

Kara recently reported a CNN docuseries exploring longevity and what actually helps us live longer, healthier lives. She tested the cutting-edge science, the tech-bro optimization trends, and the wellness promises so the rest of us don't have to.

We unpack what's actually worth paying attention to, what she's bringing into her own life, what she's leaving behind, and how to build a healthier, more intentional life without chasing every new trend.

Plus, I'm sharing my strategies for staying consistent through the summer and how I keep my fitness goals on track when routines get messy.

Question: How do you switch off when you're with your family. How do you ensure you're being present and not thinking about the next meeting/class/event you've got going on?

- Nora
❝

Answer: When I'm with my kids, my phone stays in another room. It's one of the simplest boundaries I've created, and it's made a huge difference. Before they go to bed, I time-block space on my calendar so I can mentally put my to-do list in a parking lot until later. After they're asleep, I use that dedicated time to tie up any loose ends. Knowing that time is already set aside gives me permission to be fully present instead of mentally running through emails or everything I still need to do.
