Plus: Your fall wellness reset

What’s up, Hustlers!
They are watching us—our children, our colleagues, our communities.
Watching to see if we rise, if we persist, if we dare.
So let’s give them a story worth telling. Let’s build a world where power isn’t passed down—it’s sparked, and it spreads. Where courage is ordinary and boldness is the baseline.
The future isn’t something we wait for. It’s something we make. Let’s start making it—today.

.WHAT I’M LAUNCHING.
My Eat to Hustle YouTube show 👩‍🍳 I’m bringing recipes from my cookbook to life with family, friends, and special guests. I love this format because it lets us go deeper, sharing extended videos and behind-the-scenes moments that don’t always make it to Instagram.
First up? Mi familia. They’ve got the spice, the stories, and the sass you didn’t know you needed. We’re kicking things off with a Tempeh Buffalo Dip—the kind of dish that fuels the hustle and brings everyone to the table. ⬇️
Want the full recipe and more BTS? Pre-order Eat to Hustle! With proof of purchase (submit via this form), you’ll join the pre-order community email list and get exclusive early access to the recipes dropping on my YouTube channel. Let’s eat, fam. 🍴🔥
.WHAT I’M SHARING .
A Fall Wellness Reset 🍂 Fall isn’t just back-to-school season for the kids—it’s a reset for us, too. I loved this Life Kit episode, “A Head-to-Toe Check-In for the Fall,” because it reminds us that self-care starts with caring for the basics. From protecting your ears and easing digital eye strain, to taking care of your teeth, feet, and skin—this convo is all about keeping your body strong so you can keep showing up.
I’m a big believer that swagger is built on daily habits, and sometimes it’s the small check-ins that keep us ready for the big moves. Tune in and let this serve as your fall wellness reset. ⬇️
.WHAT I’M BUILDING .
A Resilience Muscle 💪 Resilience isn’t reserved for the chosen few. It’s a muscle we can all build. And just like any muscle, it grows through repetition, persistence, and sometimes failure. From my own life pivots, motherhood journey and career shifts, I’ve learned that resilience isn’t about snapping back to who you were before. It’s about allowing yourself to evolve into someone new—shaped by the challenges, not diminished by them.
I’ve seen resilience in countless ways: a new mother reclaiming a piece of herself with a 5 a.m. ride, a cancer survivor crossing their first finish line, or someone turning “I can’t” into “I did.” My kids—Athena and Atlas—remind me daily that they’re not watching for perfection. They’re watching for persistence.
If you’re building resilience, here are some ways to strengthen your muscle:
Reframe the challenge. Instead of asking “Why me?” try “What can this teach me?”
Allow the transformation. Don’t aim to bounce back—aim to bounce forward into a stronger version of yourself.
Find your mirror. Surround yourself with people who reflect your strength back to you when you forget.
Celebrate progress. Every step forward is proof of your strength.
Pass it on. Your persistence gives others permission to rise too.
Your grit inspires me. How do you keep rising when it gets tough?

Last Friday was the latest ride in my Your Day One Peloton series—our reset every 100 days to draw a line in the sand and declare where we’re going next. But here’s the truth: turning “one day” into “Day One” isn’t about a date on the calendar. It’s a decision we get to make over and over again.
Here’s how you can flip the script for the next 100 days:
Know that growth is uncomfortable. It’s supposed to feel like work. We’re not entitled to the results. We earn them.
Eliminate the “should”. Replace “should” with “will + because”. Instead of “I should get more sleep,” say “I will get more sleep because it’s the foundation of my kingdom.”
Monitor your self-talk. The most powerful conversation you’ll ever have is the one happening between your ears. Choose words that empower you and tell yourself the story you want to live.
The next chapter starts with you. What story are you going to write in the next 100 days?

Question: What are some of your go-to sources of fiber?
Answer: Plants, plants, plants! Fruits, veggies, whole grains, beans, lentils, nuts, and seeds. I’m a fan of chickpeas, chia seeds, and quinoa—triple wins for fiber, protein, and flavor. 🥗
Got a question for me? Reply to this email and let me know what’s on your mind.
Thanks for reading, Hustlers. Go out there, pivot with power, and stay curious about what’s next.
