What’s up, Hustlers!

Your energy walks into the room before you do.

How you move, how you lead, how you show up—that’s what defines you. A bio can’t bench press. A resume can’t run the miles.

Your actions talk. Make sure they’re saying something powerful.

 .WHAT’S IMPORTANT TO ME.

Empowering Strong Mamas 💪 Last week, Robin Roberts and I teamed up to kick off our new Strong Mama series on Good Morning America, spotlighting the physical and mental wellness journeys of mothers everywhere.

Motherhood demands daily resilience. Giving birth and raising babies is the hardest thing I’ve ever done. Whether you’re expecting, healing, thriving, or running on 45 minutes of sleep—you’re a strong mama, and you deserve grace. Here are a few tips I shared to help you move through this season with strength and swagger:

PHYSICAL HEALTH TIPS (Watch the full episode here)

  • Listen to your body. Continue the workouts you’ve been doing, but make adjustments as needed. If something doesn’t feel good, switch it up.

  •  Chase consistency, not PRs. Nap-time workouts count. When cleared by your provider, start with breathwork, walks, and posture resets. Five minutes of movement is still movement.

  •  Celebrate the daily wins. Breath, water, movement, joy. Rest is sacred. Recovery is power.

MENTAL HEALTH TIPS (Watch the full episode here)

  •  Movement is medicine. It’s good for you, it’s good for baby—and it’s powerful for your mental health and hormone balance.

  •  Ask for what you need—no apology necessary. Lean on your people. Say yes to help. Accept compliments and care without brushing them off.

  •  Set boundaries. This is a sacred season. Be intentional with what you consume—physically, emotionally, and digitally.

Share this with a strong mama in your life—expecting, new, or deep in the thick of it—and let her know: You see her. You’re with her. You’ve got her back. Because strong mamas are even fiercer with a strong village. 💖

 .WHAT I’M ASKING.

What’s on your summer reading list? 👀 There’s something about reading in the sun that just hits. A good book + a beach chair or a quiet morning on vacation = instant recharge. I’ve been saving the final ACOTAR book for this week while I’m tapering for HYROX. **Pro tip: Save a book, podcast, or show you’re hyped on for race week. It’s the ultimate distraction and gets you excited to be in bed earlier.

What books are on your summer list? Fiction, non-fiction, fantasy, memoir… reply to this email and drop your recs. I’ll be sharing the top picks with the community!

 .WHAT I’M ANSWERING.

What’s the hype with matcha? Matcha is loaded with health benefits. According to the Cleveland Clinic, it packs 137x more antioxidants than regular green tea—especially EGCG, which supports heart health, fires up your metabolism, and helps fight inflammation. And the caffeine + L-theanine combo? It gives you calm, steady focus without the crash.

If you haven’t tried matcha yet, do it—you’ll thank me later. And if you’re ready to level up your matcha game, try this:

  • 💚 Blend into smoothies for pre-workout power

  • 🥄 Stir into chia pudding with vanilla + coconut milk

  • 🍫 Mix into dark chocolate bark (chef’s kiss)

  • 🍿 Sprinkle on popcorn for a savory twist

  • 🧇 Whisk into waffle batter for a green glow-up

HYROX NYC is this weekend, y’all 🔥 The week before the race is when it hits—prep turns into power, playlists get louder, focus gets sharper. Whether it’s your first HYROX or your tenth, take this week to lock in your intention. Recovery, nutrition, visualization—make them part of the plan.

See you at Pier 76. Let’s get it. 💥

Question: How do you find your swagger when you’re overwhelmed or off your game?

-Lily

Answer: I treat swagger like a muscle—it gets stronger the more I use it. On the days when I feel off or like I’m dragging, I simplify. I get back to my non-negotiables: movement, journaling, hydration, gratitude. Even just one of those can shift my mindset. I remind myself that confidence doesn’t come from having all the answers—it comes from showing up, even when it’s messy. Hustlers don’t wait for the perfect moment. We create it.
