šŸ‘‘ What are you waiting for?

Plus: Holiday plates that fuel your hustle

What’s up, Hustlers!

Start before you’re ready.

There’s never going to be a perfect time.

We are always one decision away from a new life.

Start scared. Start imperfectly. Start and fail. Then start again.

 .WHAT I’M DIGGING INTO.

The missing piece in most training plans šŸŽ§ļø On this episode of The Rich Roll Podcast, Andy Galpin—PhD in exercise bioenergetics, professor, and elite performance coach—dives into what actually drives results in training. He breaks down his framework of nine fitness adaptations and why so many people get stuck working hard but not specifically enough to create change. He discusses the difference between overreaching and overtraining, and what might really be limiting progress. If you’ve been putting in the work but feel stuck, this episode is a reset worth listening to. ā¬‡ļø

 .WHAT I’M CHECKING ON.

Our 3for31 midpoint mindset šŸ“† We’re officially past the halfway point of 3for31. This is the time when things can start to feel heavier. The negotiating creeps in and that inner voice gets loud. This is your cue to make action louder than the noise. Lock in, stay present, and keep moving. If you’re feeling it, start here:

1ļøāƒ£ Come back to your why. Why did you start this challenge? Say it out loud. Write it down. Anchor yourself in the bigger picture.

2ļøāƒ£ Show up for your future self. January 1 will be here before you know it. What version of you do you want stepping into 2026? The work you do now is for that person.

3ļøāƒ£ Don’t wait for motivation. Motivation comes and goes. Momentum is built through action. Move first—the feeling follows.

4ļøāƒ£ Remove the friction. Make showing up the easiest option. Lay out your clothes. Prep your water bottle. Schedule your workouts. Set yourself up to win.

5ļøāƒ£ Lean on community. Work out with a friend, tell your partner your plan, or track your progress on the 3for31 calendar and share it with @swaggersociety. Accountability turns intention into action.

 .WHAT’S ON MY MENU.

Protein-packed holiday plates šŸ½ļø Holiday meals are meant to be enjoyed. My move is keeping all the comfort and flavor, while quietly building more plant-based protein into the menu so the plate actually holds you down. Nothing fancy—just smart swaps. Here’s how:

  1. Blend it in. I like to blend silken tofu into gravies and sauces for a creamy base and an extra ~8g of protein per ½ cup (Try this recipe!). Or I’ll add lentils to stuffing for a simple protein boost without changing the flavor. Same cozy classics, with a protein twist.

  2. Let sides do the heavy lifting. Build at least one side around protein—think lentil salad (~9g protein per ½ cup), roasted chickpeas (~7g protein per ½ cup), or quinoa-based sides (~4g protein per ½ cup). They balance the plate without stealing the spotlight.

  3. Simple swaps. Use lupini bean protein pasta for favorites like mac & cheese—one serving clocks 20+ grams of protein. Same comfort, more fuel.

  4. Smart seasonings. Nutritional yeast (aka nooch) is my secret weapon. Sprinkle it into sauces, mashed potatoes, or veggies for a savory, cheesy boost with 5g of protein in just 2 tbsp.

And yes, dessert can bring protein too šŸ’Ŗ. The Sweet Potato Pie Bars from my cookbook, Eat to Hustle, are a holiday go-to. Cozy flavor with 10g of protein, 4g of fiber, and a whole lot of swagger. Chef’s kiss. šŸ”„

This morning on Good Morning America! ā˜€ļø I’ll be on GMA with Jess Sims and the Peloton fam, breaking down cross training—why it matters and how to use it to move better, longer, stronger. We’ve got simple, effective moves you can start today. Tune in today at ~8:40am EST on GMA and catch us again at ~10am EST on GMA3.

We dropped the 3for31 Hoodie, and it’s going quick. Designed for real life, real hustle, and the people choosing consistency when it’s not easy. Grab one for yourself or gift it to someone who’s been putting in the work. šŸ”„

Question: I keep replaying a mistake I made this year and it’s holding me back. How do I move forward?

- Olivia

Answer: First, hear this: you are not defined by the worst decision you made this year. We all have moments we wish we could redo, and that’s part of being human. Give yourself grace. Every challenge, every stumble, every ā€œI wish I had done that differentlyā€ is still shaping your growth. And remember this, you always have the power to make the next best choice. Turn the page and keep moving forward.
