What’s up, Hustlers!Β

Let’s clear something up: you can do hard things.

Somewhere along the way, many of us started telling ourselves the story that we can’t.

Meanwhile… you’re carrying three Stanley cups, fourteen bags, and a toddler on your hip while hopping on a Zoom call and somehow still making it happen.

So noβ€”you’re not someone who can’t do hard things. You’re someone who already does them every single day.

It’s time to start telling yourself that story instead.

.WHAT I’M RECAPPING.

A Successful Eat to Hustle Launch Week! β™₯ I just got back from Texas, the final stop of the Eat to Hustle book tour yesterday, and wowβ€”what a week. It was a whirlwind of travel, conversations, kitchens, stages, and so many moments with this community. This is my fifth book, and every time I go through this process I’m reminded of my favorite part of publishing: meeting this community in real life.

The energy in those rooms. The hugs. Hearing how Eat to Hustle has impacted your life. It all means more than you know. After this past week of putting Eat to Hustle into the world, I’m leaving with a very full heart and a lot of gratitude.

I know last week was a lot of book tour and promotion, so below I rounded up a few recipes we shared along the way so you can get cooking in your own kitchen!

  • Gooey Cinnamon Rolls - 10g of protein per roll. Proof that plant-based baking can still bring all the gooey goodness.

  • Stacked Nacho Fries - If you only make one recipe from Eat to Hustle, start with this once. 21g of protein per serving and always a crowd favorite.

  • Mini Energy Muffins - The ultimate #pursesnack with 12g of protein to fuel you on the go!

  • Chocolate Apple Nachos - My go-to afterschool snack for the kids and the only thing I wanted to eat when I was pregnant with Atlas. 19g of protein and SO delicious.

If the recipes are fueling your hustle, I'd be so grateful if you left a review where you purchased Eat to Hustle. Your words help more people discover the book. And keep tagging me in your recipe pics! I LOVE seeing them in action. Thank you,Β fam. ❀‍πŸ”₯

.WHAT I’M DIVING INTO.

Embracing a Multi-Hyphenate Existence 🎧 On today’s episode of Project Swagger, we’re digging into what it really means to build a multi-hyphenate life, and why it’s NOT about piling on more side hustles. Plus, I’m sharing thoughts on resilience after failure, my postpartum movement and fitness advice for new moms, and the travel essentials that never leave my bag. Give it a listen and let me know what insight you’re taking with you this week. ⬇

And one more thingβ€”we have a special edition of Project Swagger dropping tomorrow! Over the weekend at SXSW we taped our first-ever live episode with the legendary entrepreneur Mark Cuban, and we’re releasing it on the Project Swagger podcast channel so everyone can tune in.

Mark is truly aging backwards, so I asked him all about longevity, vitality, and how he fuels his body and mind for the long game. The most surprising (and honestly shocking) moment? His lunch routine. Let’s just say it involves some very unlikely combos.

Check it out tomorrow!

.WHAT I’M SHARING

Best Parenting Advice I’ve Ever Received πŸ—’ This weekend at SXSW I spoke on the SHE Media Whole Life Health panel, and and two questions came up that I wanted to bring back and share with this community:

1⃣ Question #1: Best parenting advice I’ve ever received

This one came from my friend, Eva Longoria. Before Athena was born, I asked her what she wished people had told her before becoming a parent. Her answer?

β€œI wish people told me less.”

That line has stayed with me. There is so much noise in the parenting space todayβ€”articles, advice, opinions, experts, endless inputs telling you the β€œright” way to do things. And while learning from others can be powerful, you’re also a fully formed adult who has navigated a lot to get where you are.

Listen to your trusted critics. But you don’t need to absorb every opinion that comes your way. Sometimes the most powerful move is quieting the noise and trusting your own instincts.

2⃣ Question #2: Best parenting advice I’ve ever given

Honestly? I’m not sure I’m in the position to give parenting advice yet. I’m still very much in the thick of it with two young kids. But one thing I’ve noticed: the parents who seem the most grounded are the ones who take care of themselves first.

The ones who get their movement in. Who fuel their bodies. Who hydrate. Who make spaceβ€”even in small waysβ€”for their own well-being.

I know this is true for me. When I’ve laid the foundation for myself and gotten my workout in, I show up as a better, calmer, more present parent.

Taking care of yourself isn’t separate from parenting. In many ways, it’s part of the job.

The Kelly Clarkson Show! 😍 Last week I joined The Kelly Clarkson Show and had so much fun talking about Eat to Hustle, the vision behind Project Swagger, and yesβ€”my strong belief that podcasts should be listened to at 2x speed.

Feeling grateful for the platform and the chance to share this journey with all of you. You can watch the full segment now on YouTube. ⬇️

Today on The Drew Barrymore Show! I’m joining The Drew Barrymore Show with my friend, chef, and high-performance athlete Dan Churchill. We’ll be cooking up my Chorizo Burrito Bowl from Eat to Hustle while diving into easy plant-based swaps, ways to work with the ingredients already in your kitchen, and how to create meals that fuel the life you want to live.

If you’re looking for simple meals that truly fuel your day, you don’t want to miss this. Catch it today at 3PM EST!

❝

Question: I know recovery is important, but I always feel like I’m not prioritizing it. How do you think about that?

- Dierdre
❝

Answer: Recovery isn’t a luxuryβ€”it’s part of the training plan. For a long time, people treated rest like it was optional or something you earned after pushing yourself to the edge. But the truth is, recovery is where your body actually adapts and gets stronger. If you want longevity in sport, in movement, in life, then you have to train hard and recover with intention. Sleep, hydration, mobility, quiet moments to reset…those aren’t extras. They’re part of showing up ready for the next challenge.
