 .WHAT Iā€™M SNACKING ON.

Watermelonā€¦all day, every day šŸ‰ This juicy, hydrating fruit is the MVP of summer. Whether Iā€™m grabbing a slice on the go or mixing it into a fresh salad, watermelon is always a staple in my kitchen. My favorite way to eat this treat? With TajĆn or sea salt and mint!  .WHAT Iā€™M SHARING.

Warm Weather Running Tips ā˜€ļø The past few weeks Iā€™ve been loving these sunny, summer miles. Morning beach runs before the day kicks off are my absolute favorite. However, the heat can be tough to beat. Thatā€™s why Iā€™ve got my warm-weather essentials locked and loaded. ā¬‡ļø

šŸ’¦ Water: Hydration is KEY when temps start rising and youā€™re sweating buckets. Make sure to drink plenty of water before and after a run and consider investing in a running hydration pack to stay hydrated throughout.

šŸ§‚Electrolytes: When you sweat you lose sodium in your body. Most electrolyte tablets and drinks contain some sodium, but you can also just add a sprinkle of pink Himalayan sea salt to your water.

šŸ§Š Rock an Ice-Filled Bandana: This is an easy way to keep yourself cool on hot runs. How to make one: Lay a standard sized bandana out on the floor, put a handful of ice in the middle, pinch the ends together to make a triangle and roll it like a croissant. Tie it loosely around your neck, making sure the ice rests on your back.

šŸ•¶ļø Shade: Squinting for any amount of time during a run actually wastes a ton of energy. Invest in a good pair of sunglasses that have a snug fit so they donā€™t bounce on your face or fall off during your run.

 .WHAT Iā€™M JOURNALING ABOUT.

Blessings šŸ’Œ Gratitude is the key to experiencing abundance. Taking inventory of everything youā€™re thankful forā€”no matter how smallā€”makes you realize just how much you actually have. It keeps us grounded, centered, and allows us to celebrate the beauty that already exists in our lives. Try reflecting on your blessings with this journaling prompt. ā¬‡ļø

What good things have happened or what are you feeling grateful for in the last 24 hours?

My answer: Right now, Iā€™m grateful for my family, summer air, and sunrises at the beach!

 .WHAT Iā€™M INSPIRED BY.

Olympic Athletes šŸ„‡ This yearā€™s Olympic Games were incredible to watch, with women making headlines that inspired us all. Katie Ledecky? She didnā€™t just win gold in the 1500 freestyle ā€“ she dominated, finishing with a time of 15:30.02, an Olympic record and a full ten seconds ahead of the next finisher. This win marked her eighth career Olympic gold medal, and she now holds the top 20 performances in history for that event. Her secret? Consistency and embracing failure. Preparing for Tokyo, Ledecky told Forbes, ā€œEach day I work on getting better, and even the bad days have something good that comes out of them.ā€

Ledecky is the epitome of breaking boxes and shattering limits. Letā€™s continue to show up for ourselves and embrace the friction. Itā€™s the consistent actions that build unstoppable legacies.

Question: What advice do you have for people who struggle to maintain a fitness routine?

- William

Answer: First, get specific. Itā€™s not enough to just say ā€œI want to get fit.ā€ Dig deeper. What exactly does that look like for you? Maybe itā€™s taking three Peloton classes a week or running 10 miles by the end of the month. The more specific you are, the more clearly you can visualize your finish line.

Next, reverse engineer it. Picture the future version of yourself crushing that goal. Now, whatā€™s it going to take to get there? Lock it in. Schedule those workouts like non-negotiable appointments. Tell your family. Let everyone know youā€™ve got this goal, and prep yourself by thinking through what might trip you up along the way. When you identify the roadblocks ahead of time, you can smash right through them.

Finally, set yourself up to win. Lay out your gear the night before. Trust me, if your outfit is ready and waiting, youā€™re way more likely to show up and get it done.
