Plus: A practical goal-setting method

What’s up, Hustlers!

You are NOT defined by the worst decision you made last year.

Give yourself grace. Every challenge, every stumble, and every “I wish I had done that differently” is an opportunity to grow. You always have the power to make the next best choice.

To all my LA hustlers: I’m thinking of you and sending my love, thoughts, and prayers your way. ❤️ You are strong, you have this community behind you, and remember—movement is medicine.

Here are a few resources I’m using to stay informed and provide support:

 .WHAT I’M SHARING.

A practical goal-setting method đź“ť Big dreams are where it all begins—but turning them into reality? That takes action. Too often, we get stuck in the dream phase, sharing our goals with friends and feeling accomplished before we’ve even started. I want you to focus on rooting yourself in action.

Here’s how to set goals with intention and momentum:

  1. Write it down. Grab a notebook and write out your goal or dream. Don’t hold back—dream as big as you want.

  2. Break it into actions. In a second column, list all the verbs and actions your goal entails. What will it take to make it happen?

  3. Make a plan and take one small step. Create a schedule for the actions. Then, take the smallest step that moves you forward—send the email, make the call, or research the first step. If it takes two minutes or less, do it right now.

  4. Repeat—forever. Building momentum is all about showing up consistently. Big results come from small steps taken over and over again. Consistency creates LEGENDS.

What’s one action you can take today to move closer to your goals?

 .WHAT I’M CELEBRATING.

Strong Mama Anniversary đź¤± This week, I’m celebrating the 3-year anniversary of releasing my first children’s book, Strong Mama—my love letter to all the caregivers raising the next generation with grit and grace. Strength isn’t just about the big moments—it’s in the everyday hustle, the love you pour into the little things, and the example you set by simply showing up.

To all the caregivers: give yourself grace, believe in your power, and know this—you are STRONG.

 .WHAT I’M PRIORITIZING.

Self-care that fuels the long-haul hustle. 💪🏽 For me, the start of a new year isn’t about quick-fix resolutions—it’s about building habits that help you thrive all year long. Here are 5 ways to prioritize self-care this season:

  1. Focus on intentional abundance. I’m saying yes to what fuels me and no to what doesn’t. Boundaries aren’t barriers; they’re bridges to the life you want to build. When you align your energy with what truly matters, you create more space for growth and joy. đź’—

  2. Do things that fill your cup. For me, that means lifting heavier weights in the gym. For you, it might be running, journaling, crafting, or dancing in your living room. Whatever lights you up, make time for it—you deserve it! 🏋🏽‍♀️

  3. Lean on others. Self-care isn’t a solo mission. I’m leaning on my community—Drew, my family, my friends. They remind me that asking for help isn’t a weakness, it’s a strength. Don’t hesitate to tell your people how they can support you. 🤝

  4. Listen to your body. Y’all…last week, I took my first nap in five years, and let me tell you—it was a game-changer. Some days my body craves movement; other days, it needs rest. Learning to honor those cues instead of pushing through is an act of self-care that pays off in the long run. 👂🏼

  5. Grab self-care in doses. Small steps add up. One ritual that’s been important for me is starting my mornings with Pique’s Sun Goddess Matcha. It helps me feel balanced, energized, and calm no matter how hectic life gets. One cup is like drinking 10 cups of regular green tea, and it’s been amazing for my energy and gut health. Self-care doesn’t have to be big to make an impact—whether it’s sipping matcha, taking a quick walk in the sun, or even journaling for 10 minutes, it all adds up. For a limited time, you can get 20% off + a free starter kit using my link to start your matcha mornings. 📚 #ad

From #3for31 to #ThriveIn2025. đź’« Last week, I joined Robin Roberts on Good Morning America to celebrate the wins we crushed as a community during a December of movement. From seeing all the Swagger Society member and GMA fam workouts, one of my biggest takeaways was the strength and power of this community.

This movement reminded me of how much positive impact we can create when we show up for ourselves and each other. Social media became more than just posts—it turned into a hub for accountability, inspiration, and shared wins.

We’re starting 2025 feeling GOOD. Let’s keep this momentum going!
