What’s up, Hustlers!

Most worthwhile things in life feel like pushing a boulder uphill.

It’s heavy. It’s slow. And some days, it doesn’t feel like you’re getting anywhere.

But real progress is happening where you can’t see it. It’s quiet. It’s not flashy. It doesn’t scream “breakthrough.” But it counts.

So if today feels like a grind, keep going. You’re not stuck—you’re building momentum. And trust me, you’re way higher up the hill than you think.

.WHAT I’M LOVING.

Veganuary 🥬 I didn’t go vegan all at once. It started with one meal, then one day, then one week at a time. I paid attention to how my body felt—my energy, my recovery, my focus. And it worked for me.

If you’re vegan-curious or just interested in seeing how plant-based eating might impact you, Veganuary is the perfect time to experiment - it’s all about embracing plant-based living for the month of January. It’s an invitation to get curious about how your food fuels your energy, your focus, and your hustle.

Here are my INS & OUTS for Veganuary 2026:

INS:

  • Prepping ingredients 🫘 Full meal prep can feel daunting, especially if you’re new to eating plant-based. I keep it simple by prepping a few ingredients I love and using them in different ways all week. *Always in my fridge: air-fried tofu. Easy, flavorful, and an effortless protein add-on to bowls, salads, wraps—everything.

  • Purse snacks 👛 Having vegan snacks on hand removes friction and makes the good choice the easy choice. I never leave the house without something in my bag so I stay fueled, focused, and ready for whatever the day throws my way.

OUTS:

  • “No-vegan-options” events 🍽 This month, I’m done saying yes to dinners or events where plant-based options aren’t part of the plan. Choosing how you fuel yourself is part of showing up for yourself—period.

  • Low-protein myths 🫘 Let’s clear this up: vegan does not mean low protein. I’ve been vegan for over a decade and I’ve never felt stronger. It’s about knowing your sources and expanding your protein portfolio.

This is what I break down in my upcoming plant-based cookbook, Eat to Hustle (dropping March 10 and available now for preorder!). It’s all about cooking and fueling with intention—so your food supports the life you’re building.

.WHAT I’M READING.

Gone Before Goodbye 📘 This new thriller by Reese Witherspoon and Harlan Coben hooked me fast. It follows Maggie McCabe, a brilliant Army combat surgeon whose life gets flipped upside down after devastating loss strips her of her career and identity. A secretive medical job halfway across the world feels like a lifeline—until her powerful patient disappears mid-care. From there, it’s tense, sharp, and nonstop. A story about a woman forced to pivot who refuses to lose her edge? I’m in.

.WHAT I’M LOVING.

Caraway’s Cookware Set 💙 I don’t do fake—and I’m definitely not about to put unnecessary chemicals in my body. I recently listened to this episode of The Drive, where Dr. Peter Attia breaks down what’s been dominating headlines lately: microplastics and plastic-associated chemicals, and where they quietly show up in everyday life. That episode made me take a hard look at what I’m cooking with every single day.

Enter Caraway Home. Their ceramic-coated cookware is made without PTFE, PFOA, PFAS, or other forever chemicals. Clean cookware. No nonsense. And yes—it looks great on my stove. 👩‍🍳
