đź‘‘ Bad day? Reset with these tips

Plus: My thoughts on creatine

What’s up, Hustlers!

Hustle = grit + purpose.

Hustle isn’t about chaos—it’s about clarity. When your grit is rooted in purpose, every rep, every step, every “no” becomes part of the blueprint.

You’re not just working hard—you’re working with intention.

What’s fueling your hustle this week?

 .WHAT I’M SHARING .

My thoughts on creatine đź§  I’ve been getting a lot of questions about creatine lately—especially now that it’s having a moment in the mainstream. Spoiler alert: creatine isn’t just for bodybuilders. It’s one of the most researched supplements out there and I’ve been taking it for over a decade. I take at least 5 grams a day and bump it up when I’m traveling. It’s a consistent part of how I support both my training and recovery.

If you’re curious about the science behind it, check out this episode of the FoundMyFitness podcast: The Optimal Creatine Protocol for Strength, Brain, and Longevity with Dr. Darren Candow. Dr. Candow breaks down how creatine can support cognitive resilience, help with stress, and protect against cognitive decline—especially when sleep is in short supply (shoutout to caregivers and hustlers!). ⬇️

.WHAT I’M BREAKING DOWN.

Tips to reset your mindset âŹŞď¸Ź Bad days happen. The goal isn’t avoiding them—it’s knowing how to stop a tough moment from becoming a downward spiral. When I need to reset, I come back to these tools that help me get back on track. ⬇️

  • Set the timer and feel it⏳  I give myself 15 minutes—literally. I’ll set a timer and give myself full permission to feel everything. Cry it out. Journal. Scream-sing. Whatever it takes to let it move through me. The timer helps me create a boundary: this is where the spiral ends.

  • Make one decision today that will make tomorrow easier âś… Even on the worst days, I try to make one choice that’ll make things easier for tomorrow. That might be going to bed on time, choosing a nourishing meal, or filling my water bottle. I picture future me and ask, “What does she need?”

  • Move your body🚶‍♀️ Movement is medicine. A five-minute walk, a Peloton stretch class, or even just dancing in the kitchen to a favorite song can shift my energy. Sometimes one small move is all it takes to break the funk.

The reset doesn’t need to be big—it just needs to begin. You’re one decision away from shifting the whole day.

 .WHAT FIRES ME UP.

94% of C-suite women played sports1 âš˝ď¸Ź How dope is that? That’s not a coincidence. Sports build confidence, voice, and leadership muscle. Last week, Drew attended Deep Blue’s Business of Women’s Sports Summit in NYC, where trailblazers like Allyson Felix, Dany Garcia, Ashlyn Harris, and Azzi Fudd made one thing clear: women aren’t just participating—we’re leading.

Why? Because women’s sports aren’t a side project—they’re a growth market. The industry is predicted to generate $2.4B in 2025, a 5x growth in just four years2. The shift isn’t just happening in boardrooms—it’s being led by the athletes themselves. They’re founders, storytellers, and forces of change.

  • Allyson Felix helped bring the first-ever nursery to the Paris Olympic Village and is using her platform to push for deeper narratives—around motherhood, mental health, and identity.

  • Dany Garcia launched DANIMAS, a media brand for the trailblazers—built on strength in body and mind.

  • Unrivaled is changing the rules with a new 3Ă—3 women’s basketball league led by the athletes themselves.

  • The WNBA generated over $130M in sponsor revenue in 2024—fueled by athletes who know their value and aren’t afraid to own it.

These are just a few examples of the movement in motion. This is the new standard. And we’re just getting started.

Chocolate Hummus đźŤ« Last week I shared this 5-minute, protein-packed recipe from Forks Over Knives. Perfect for fruit, veggie dipping, or eating straight by the spoon (no judgment). Check out the recipe and Atlas’s honest reaction. ⬇️

The NYT Well Festival 💚 I’m taking the stage tomorrow at the first-ever NYT Well Festival—where science, wellness, and real talk collide. I’ll be breaking down what really fuels wellness alongside voices like Dwyane Wade, Tracee Ellis Ross, and Peter Attia. If you’re coming, let me know—I want to see y’all there!

Question: Do you have any breakup advice?

- Sofia

Answer: I'm sorry you're going through this girl—breakups are tough, no sugarcoating it. Here's what I recommend:

- Sign up for a challenge. Whether it’s a race, a hike, or something that scares you a little, put something bold on your calendar. It’ll give you a goal to focus on and a new source of pride.

- Read about the “Let Them” theory by Mel Robbins. It's a game-changer. It’ll remind you that you don’t need to control other people’s actions—you just need to control your own peace.

- Stay busy. Pack your days with movement, books, new experiences, and people who make you feel alive. Action beats overthinking every time.

Heartbreak hurts—but it also cracks us open in ways that make us stronger. You've got this. 💪🏽
