Plus: My cold weather running tips

Whatâs up, Hustlers!
Is "just okay"... okay?
You already know the answer. We're not here to settle for average or coast on autopilot. Every day is a chance to push past limits and unlock your full potential.
For me, itâs about leaning into what lights me upâwhether thatâs lacing up for a run, diving into a new project, or creating space for family moments. You deserve more than âjust okayâ too.
Letâs keep striving for betterâtogether.

.WHAT IâM SHARING.
How to eat more plants. đ± A lot of yâall have told me, âIâm thinking about trying a more plant-based lifestyle, but Iâm not sure where to start.â
Hereâs the truth: I didnât go fully plant-based overnight. After a highly questionable chicken salad at a deli near my law firm, I decided it was time for a change. I started smallâone meal a week fully plant-based, then one day a week. Ten years later, plants are the foundation of everything I eat. You donât have to go from 0 to 100 âjust take it one day (or one meal) at a time.
One thing that made the transition easier for me? Finding plant-based meals that actually taste GOOD! Thatâs where Purple Carrot comes in. Their meals make eating plants easy and delicious. Itâs all about bold flavors and taking the stress out of figuring out what to cook.

.WHAT IâM PRACTICING .
Simple mindset shifts. đ Recently, I sat down with The Everygirl Podcast to share how movement can be a powerful tool for transformation and how small shifts can make feeling your best more achievable than you think. We covered everything from learning to love running (yes, even if you think you hate it!) to my daily wellness routines.
Feeling your best starts with mindset. One shift Iâve been leaning into is the âShould Detox.â Itâs simple but powerful. Hereâs how it works: Replace âI shouldâ with âI will,â and add a reason. For example, instead of saying, âI should work out,â try, âI will work out because it gives me energy to show up for my family.â
This small change can turn a task into a purpose. Try it out and let me know how it works for you!
.WHAT IâM EMBRACING.
Cold weather running. đ„¶ Itâs been CHILLY in NYC, and while school drop-off takes a little extra grit, running in the cold comes with perksâless heat stress means your body can handle more. If youâre ready to lace up and crush those frosty miles, here are my go-to tips to make it happen:
Warm up inside. I like to do a quick 5-minute warm-up ride or jog indoors before heading out. Even a round of jumping jacks or burpees will get your blood flowing!
Turn up the music. Anything Beyoncé or Bad Bunny is guaranteed to turn up the heat.
Try lemongrass oil. I put a few drops on my neck and face. The scent keeps me feeling awake and alert.
Layer up wisely. Gloves, a good hat, waterproof socks, and a solid base layer are non-negotiables. Just donât overdressâyouâll warm up faster than you think!
Hydrate. Donât let the cold fool youâhydration is still important, even when you donât feel thirsty.
Cold weather? No problem. Youâve got this. đȘ

Meet the TLT. đ đ„Źđ„Ș Last week, I shared one of my favorite recipes: the Tempeh, Lettuce & Tomato sandwich. This TLT is everything you want in a mealâprotein-packed, carb-fueled, and absolutely delicious. Itâs perfect whether youâre fueling up for a workout or need a quick bite.
Havenât tried it yet? Check out the recipe and let me know what you think!

Question: Whatâs that pink drink youâre always sipping during your classes?
Answer: I get this question all the time! Itâs water with vegan BCAAs (branched-chain amino acids). They help support muscle recovery and boost endurance during intense workouts. As a vegan, BCAAs provide the essential amino acids my body needs to stay strong, resilient, and ready for the next hustle. đȘ
