All the holiday cookies! đŞ My oven has been working overtime these past few weeks, and Iâve been having fun experimenting with some new recipes. This list of the best vegan Christmas cookies has been sparking inspiration â lots of festive options to explore!
Iâve had some little helpers in the kitchen too... Frosting is everywhere, candy's going missing, but itâs all part of the holiday magic. The chaos and these moments with my kids are what make this time of year so special.

Food during the holidays đ˝ď¸ Navigating holiday food can be a challenge for many of us. Iâve found that a little planning goes a long way in making choices that help me feel my best. Here are some tips â
Pack healthy foods you can rely on. When my fam travels for the holidays, I always bring a few servings of plant-based protein powder, sandwiches on high-protein bagels or wraps, protein bars, and nuts.
Walk in with a plan that youâll be proud to walk out with. Think about how youâll navigate everything from conversations about food to hitting the dessert table. Try not to start the meal too hungryâthatâs often when we end up eating past the point of satiation.
Stay hydrated and mindful. Often, dehydration can be mistaken for hunger. Keep water handy, especially when traveling or at holiday gatherings. It helps you feel energized and balanced.
Enjoy those once-a-year treats you love during the holidays. Savoring a special treat doesnât mean youâre off track. One meal wonât define your habits, so if you indulge more than planned, focus on your next best choice and keep moving forward. Youâre in control.

My go-to? Start with a "Hero's Breath"âa simple yet powerful way to reset your mindset and energy:
Stand tall and place your hands on your rib cage.
Inhale for 3 seconds, filling your lungs completely.
Exhale for 5 seconds, releasing all the negativity.
On the next inhale, take in the good and say something kind to yourself.
Repeat for a minute.
Research shows that combining a power stance, intentional breathing, and positive self-talk can shift your perception and energy. After that, commit to just 10 minutes of movementâyou might be surprised how much better you feel.
